Luz M. Happel, LCSW, is a bilingual licensed clinical social worker practicing in our Oak Brook and St. Charles offices. She is able to conduct therapy sessions fluently in both English and Spanish.

Ms. Happel has 17 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families and is particularly interested in helping those struggling with anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. With her clinical foundation rooted in client-centered and strength-based approaches, Ms. Happel works to provide a safe environment for clients to explore and process emotions and areas of desired change.

Trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and traditional talk therapy, Ms. Happel earned her master’s degree in social work at the Jane Addams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
