Adolescents, Adults, Couples, and Family Counseling

Dr. Wende Pannell, LCPC, Ed.D., is a licensed clinical professional counselor practicing in our St. Charles office. She is passionate about helping adolescents, adults, and families who’ve experienced life trauma, depression, stress, or anxiety to regain their power.

“One of the primary benefits of counseling is that you will walk away from the experience with a healthier perspective on life, improved resilience and self-concept, and the ability to apply what you’ve learned to better navigate through life.”

Therapeutic Style

With more than 20 years’ experience helping clients in private practice and community programs, Dr. Pannell does not shy from challenging cases and situations. Instead, she employs her calm demeanor and non-judgmental style to put clients at ease as they work collaboratively to identify goals and pathways forward.

“I understand that clients experience many stressful situations in their lives. Therapy can provide skills, understanding, and hope in order to find a solution to the issues being faced. I believe in every situation there is always a solution.”

Dr. Pannell, who earned a doctorate in counseling education from Argosy University in Phoenix, AZ., and a master’s degree in counseling from National Louis University in Lisle, IL., utilizes a variety of counseling techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
