Dr. Joanna Katsigiannis, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist. She offers individual and family psychotherapy in-office appointments in our St. Charles office and via video. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has over 15 years of clinical experience working in various settings, including community mental health, schools, private practices, inpatient programs, integrated healthcare facilities, and nursing and rehabilitation centers.

Dr. Katsigiannis' approach to psychotherapy is integrative. She utilizes evidence-based treatments to help her clients gain insight and achieve their treatment goals. These treatments include psychoeducational, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), trauma-informed therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
She recognizes that participating in psychotherapy can often feel intimidating and vulnerable. She describes her approach as gentle, welcoming, and straightforward. She values collaboration, the therapeutic relationship, and providing her clients with practical tools for coping with their difficulties. She is eager to help her clients create a plan for personal growth that feels empowering and achievable.
