Kenneth Weitzmon, LCPC

Kenneth Weitzmon is a licensed clinical professional counselor working in the St. Charles office.  He has more than 12 years of experience working in community mental health, crisis stabilization, and outpatient therapy settings.  Throughout Mr. Weitzmon’s career he has worked with a variety of populations and age ranges, with a particular interest in working on men’s issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress management, anger management, and substance use.

Mr. Weitzmon’s knowledge of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other humanistic approaches helps to tailor his approach with each individual. He believes that there is no one pathway to growth.

“My goal is to demonstrate the hope that therapy can provide.  I know that it takes courage to ask for help and I plan to honor that courage.”

Mr. Weitzmon completed his Master’s at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2010 and his undergraduate degree from Monmouth College.  After completing his degrees, he worked in a variety of clinical settings gaining unique experiences from each.  It was in this exposure, that he developed his lived experience that everyone is owed honor and dignity throughout their mental health journey.   

Mr. Weitzmon’s area of focus include:

Men’s issues, anxiety/panic, depression, life transitions, stress management, anger management, substance abuse, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and grief.
