“The world can feel overwhelming, especially when we are also navigating difficult relationships and social situations. Many people today struggle with understanding their identity in an ever-changing world and need help finding their way. I help clients uncover and confront unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors through empathy and accountability to build confidence and resilience.”
Lindsay is interested in working with adolescents and adults who are experiencing a wide variety of issues with a special focus on social and relational issues resulting from trauma, ADHD/Autism, anxiety, mood disorders, and more. She works through an evidence-based and biopsychosocial lens to tailor interventions to the client’s situation.
Lindsay McCortney’s Areas of Focus:
Social/Relational issues, trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, LGBTQ+ issues, depression, mood disorders, infertility, OCD, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
