Tiana Ghazzali, M.Ed, LPC, NCSP, is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist and current doctoral student in our St. Charles office. She earned her master's in counseling from DePaul University in 2019 and an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology in 2022 from National Louis University. Throughout her training, Tiana has gained a wide range of clinical experiences in various settings, including elementary schools, colleges, and hospitals. 

Tiana's specific focus on becoming a child psychologist demonstrates her commitment to understanding and addressing the unique psychological needs of children, instilling confidence in her specialized knowledge.

Tiana utilizes an integrative approach to therapy and employs techniques from various theoretical models, including Person-Centered Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Social skills and emotions regulation skills training. This integrative approach supports a collaborative style of psychotherapy that is tailored to each individual's specific needs.

Tiana's counseling philosophy is that "Children, adolescents, and adults realize their potential through emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and the quality of their relationships. Counseling is vital in nurturing these areas, helping individuals to become independent and thriving members of society”.

Ms. Ghazzali’s Areas of Focus Include:

ADD/ADHD and learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, behavior and defiance issues, child development, parent-child interaction, cultural and ethnic issues, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief and loss.
