Kaylin Fleisher, LSW
Adolescents, and Adults
Kaylin Fleisher is a Licensed Social Worker practicing via telehealth and in-person sessions. She has experience working with teens and adults to address difficulties with self-esteem, addiction, trauma, depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationships, anger management, and emotional dysregulation. Kaylin is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago where she earned her Master of Social Work.
“Healing, growing, and finding happiness is not an overnight process. It takes time, extreme courage and vulnerability, grace and understanding. As a Licensed Social Worker, I take great pride in helping people through this journey – through the ugly and the great – and do the hard work to achieve their goals.”
Kaylin uses a holistic and multidisciplinary approach to best address the needs of each unique individual. This includes the utilization of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), strengths perspective, values work, trauma-informed care, and somatization alongside traditional psychotherapy. In session, Kaylin works hard to provide a safe space for all clients to process and overcome life’s hardest challenges, but also celebrate the small (and big!) wins.
“Each individual is unique in their own way; what works for one does not necessarily work for another, so I try my best to be versed in many different approaches. The client is always the expert of their own experiences; however, therapy is very much a give and take on both ends – we all can learn from each other.”
Through her calm but empowering nature, Kaylin focuses on helping each client realize and use their unique strengths to heal, grow, and thrive in any setting.
“This is, and will always be, a judgment-free zone. I will always try my best to make sure each client feels heard, understood, and supported no matter what life throws at them!”
Kaylin's Areas of Focus Include:
Depression; anxiety; mood disorders; self-esteem; trauma; interpersonal relationships; social skills and communication; and stress management.
